Its apart of the QUALITY preset, it is the most optimal setting for that preset because it has a big visual impact over high. Balanced is the one I recommend most people use, quality is basically "max settings" so it only turns down things that have no noticable visual impact, balanced is the more traditional optimized settings. Hereās how to change your resolution and improve the PS5ās graphics: Go to Settings > Screen and Video. In āVideo Outputā, click on Resolution. (Set it to the maximum resolution supported on your monitor or TV). Click on HDR next, and set it to āOn When Supportedā. Then, hit āAdjust HDRā and go to the adjustment process.
Any individual R, G, or B color subcontrols, if present, should remain at their default settings. If there is a black level setting, set it on Low (PS - RGB Limited, Xb - Standard) Suggestions: If asked, leave all in-game video/HDR settings on default, especially brightness, with the numbers above to let the tv do the work (on judgement).
