If you do it yourself, make sure you get a gasket as well as a battery. You will also lose battery health monitoring in system preferences if you do it yourself. So I’m not too familiar with iPhone battery health drops seeing as this iPhone 11 Pro Max is my first iPhone ever. But currently it’s at 95% health, with optimized battery charging on. 95% is actually pretty good for a year (I think)! I love the smart battery case. If I use it, I can get 2-3 days with medium usage. It would randomly reboot. I wouldn't be doing anything with it or even have it in my hands. The battery would be at 95% every time and reboot. Then when it was back on, the battery would be at 83%. It would happen again at 78% and come back on at 73%. But then it would be good until 2% and shut down completely. Iphone 13 pro battery replacement If ive got repairs done by anyone other than apple, will they still do repairs like a battery replacement? So like ive done a housing and camera replacement as well as other repairs on an iPhone 13 pro, if i were to go to an apple authorised repairer (service plus) for a battery replacement, would they do it or I replaced the ear speaker (I don't really care about FaceID) and it's turning on no problem. But it isn't charging. I get a notification saying that an accessory is attached if I turn it on with the cord plugged in, but no charge. (I haven't put the screen back in place yet, if that matters at all) Use low power mode to limit the CPU power to reduce heat. Turn off 5G on your iPhone and just switch it to LTE to save battery and reduce heat. Turn off background app refresh and location services (you can manually turn on location services when you need it). Turn off WiFi and Bluetooth if you're not using it. It was the time that Apple admitted they rolled out updates that controlled device performance based on battery health, which triggered Iphone units to suddenly shut down. Apple announced that they are sorry and for that they will have all qualified Iphone units to have its battery replaced for a minimal fee (Php1500). It would boot but not register any touches, and wouldn’t even boot with the replacement screens. Through all of that, the replacement batteries did help the original battery life and shutdown issues, but it was a huge hassle and ultimately broke the phone. It would’ve been easier just to get a new phone from the get go. The battery message on the iPhone 12 Pro isn't like the screen one. There is no notification for it not does it give you the red badge on the settings icon. If you go into your battery health, it'll just say unknown part and that's it. I.. don't rememeber how it is for the 11 though. I’ve had my iPhone 11 Pro Max for about 2 and a half years now, and at the moment my battery health is at 77%, which is pretty bad. I’ve been thinking about getting a battery replacement at an Apple Store so everything is fine again, but I’m not sure if it’s worth doing. MsSdNg.
